- Each organisation selects its database region at setup, Canada-Central by default, with European and Asia-Pacific regions available. Your data stays in the region you choose; application compute runs on Vercel's European and global edge network.
- Encrypted in transit and at rest
- HTTPS with TLS 1.2 or above everywhere. Storage-level encryption in the database, plus AES-256-GCM field-level encryption for sensitive fields.
- Automated backups
- Managed snapshots with point-in-time recovery inside the retention window.
- Two-factor authentication
- TOTP-based second factor, with trusted-device handling so your team is not prompted every day.
- A change history that is kept
- Animal movements, observations and record changes stay connected to the person who made them and the date. Retained indefinitely unless your organisation sets a shorter window.
- Role-based access
- People see the projects, animals and operations their role covers, including guests limited to a single project.
We do not hold SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification today. We would rather say so than imply otherwise.
