Can we use our own identity provider?
Yes. SAML 2.0 single sign-on with just-in-time provisioning, and SCIM endpoints for user lifecycle from Okta or Azure AD. Google and Microsoft OAuth are also supported, plus TOTP two-factor with device trust.
Who owns the data, and can we get it out?
You do. Full CSV and PDF export at any time, including without an active subscription. There is no export fee and no lock-in clause.
How long is the audit trail kept?
Indefinitely by default. Expiry is opt-in per deployment, because the trail is the artifact 21 CFR Part 11, CCAC and ethics committees ask for, and an inspector's question can arrive years after the fact.
Where does the data live, and is there an API?
The storage region is a choice made per organisation rather than a fixed location. A public REST API connects Colony.care to your existing systems: every request needs an API key, and the number of requests is capped (rate limiting) so the service stays fast and stable for everyone.
